Draft changelog videos from your releases with the read-only GitHub App.

The loudscene GitHub App turns every release you publish into a draft changelog video in your brand, ready for review.

Coming soon Connecting GitHub is not available yet. This page describes how it will work.

How it works#

  • The app has read-only access to the repositories you pick: metadata, contents and pull requests.
  • When you publish a release, we write a changelog video from its notes and merged pull requests, in all four formats, and it waits for your review.
  • Pick which brand kit release videos use, or keep the workspace default.

Release videos are included on Pro, Crypto Pro and Agency. Only workspace owners and admins can install the app and change its settings.

Setting it up#

    Open Integrations

    In the app, go to Integrations and choose Connect GitHub.

    Pick repositories

    On GitHub, install the app on the repositories you want videos for.

  3. 3

    Publish a release

    The draft changelog video appears under Integrations and in your videos within a minute or two.

With Autopilot#

Autopilot can also use your GitHub releases as a source. It skips releases that already became a video.
